Processed 100% in your browser — nothing you enter here is ever uploaded.

Common use cases

Get the TL;DR of a long article

Paste a news story or blog post and get the key points in a few sentences instead of reading the whole thing.

Condense meeting or lecture notes

Turn a wall of rough notes into a tight summary you can share or drop into a doc.

Shorten text before posting

Trim a long description or update down to its essentials for a caption, changelog, or message.

How to use the Text Summarizer

Paste the text you want shortened — an article, meeting notes, documentation, an email thread — into the box. Nothing is uploaded; the summary is generated on your own device.

The first time you use it, a small AI model (~75MB) downloads once and is cached in your browser. After that it runs instantly, even offline.

Pick a summary length — Short, Medium or Long — then click "Summarize".

Read the summary, tweak the length if you want a shorter or fuller version, and use Copy to grab the result.

For best results keep the input to a few paragraphs at a time — very long text is trimmed to what the model can read at once, so summarize in sections if needed.
